About Us

The Vanmala Educational & Charitable Trust was founded in 2011 in Thane District, Maharashtra, with the primary objective of offering education to underprivileged segments of society. The Trust is committed to achieving its goal of "Education for All." To fulfill this mission, the Trust has established the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University Study Centre in economically disadvantaged areas where education is an urgent necessity, yet remains financially out of reach for a significant portion of the population. The Trust has made education accessible by implementing affordable fees.

One notable achievement of VECT is the establishment of the "Dharmveer Anand Dighe Saheb Mahavidyalay" (DADSM), which has earned a strong reputation for delivering professional BA, BCOM, and BSC education, boasting a successful history of student placements.

In addition to its educational initiatives, VECT also arranges various community events such as health checkup camps, eye checkup camps, and fundraising efforts to support those affected by earthquakes.

Furthermore, VECT has initiated programs like the MPSC Education Centre, Computer Training, and English Speaking courses aimed at providing educational opportunities to economically disadvantaged students and marginalized individuals.

As part of its commitment to education, VECT annually serves around 1000 students (approximately).
