It is an honour and a priviledge to be the Principal of Dharmveer Anand Dighe Saheb SR College, the College that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest standards. It is the age of cut throat competition. Apart from being adept in the field of studies, one needs to have the holistic development of person here. Empowerment of students for their all round development through education is our cherished motto.

Today, education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is acquisition of knowledge and skills, building character and improving employability of our young talent, the future leadership. Dharmveer Anand Dighe Saheb Sr. College inherited a strong foundation to march ahead and achieve the mentioned education objectives for a stronger and brighter India. When all the constituents come together and work in unison, the expected results are bound to flow. The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts. Dharmveer Anand Dighe Saheb Sr. College happily brings together sound academic achievement with an extensive, vibrant co-curricular programme.

Our focus is to train Students to become autonomous learners. Our earnest effort is to provide students with an education that allows them to recognize and realize their 'dreams' and skills and to be able to ignite the passion to excel. We strongly believe in "there is no substitute for hard work".

Learning should be based on doing things and not merely knowing things. Until and unless learning solutions relate to real life and motivate the learner to acquire and apply the knowledge, the whole process will remain superficial. We strongly believe in academic excellence and do not compromise on teaching standards or discipline. People who feel good about themselves produce good results and people who produce good results feel good about themselves. We also believe in total learning and sharing. Today in the era of liberalization, privatization & globalization we try to groom and nourish our students in such a way that they are fully equipped to meet the global demands. People succeed because they understand you can't let your failures define you you have to let them teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently next time. No one is born being good at things, you become good at things through hard work.
